Oil on Canvas
This is an original oil painting from emerging Miami artist Carlos Antonio Rancaño.
"I wanted to see a different approach to painted flowers. Often times we see flowers in still life paintings in a vase on a table. I wanted a fresher approach. So I shot these flowers up close, making some parts feel blurry and abstract. Juxtaposition also played a big role in this piece as most of the colorful flowers are at the bottom right corner leaving the top left void of color. One part is full of life and the other feels empty"
